On this page you will find tips on daily use, cleaning and answers to frequently asked questions. This way you can get the most out of your bottle - and prevent problems such as leakage or unpleasant odors.
How do I keep my VANN products clean?
● It is best to rinse after use.
● For the best cleaning, clean the bottle or cup with hot water and a drop of dish soap.
● Advice for the longest lifespan: Do not clean your VANN drinking bottle or cup in the dishwasher.
● For optimal cleaning, you can use the Eezytabs cleaning tabs.
Do you use your bottle or cup for various drinks such as soft drinks, coffee, tea, milk or alcoholic drinks?
Clean your bottle or cup thoroughly once a week to remove all odors and deposits. Below we tell you how to do this.
● Let the bottle/cup sit overnight with warm soda water
● Make a mixture of water and a denture cleaning tablet. Pour the mixture into the bottle and let it sit for 1 night.
● After using these two methods, rinse the bottle/cup thoroughly several times,
Using the cap with straw in your bag.
Please note: do you use the cap with straw and do you store your bottle in a bag or do you place it at an angle?
Then we recommend using a different cap.
The straw cap is sturdy and normally does not leak, but when the bottle is in a bag, pressure can build up from other objects, causing the cap to move slightly. This can potentially cause leakage.
Because we would like to avoid a wet bag, we give this advice as a precaution.
Can I put boiling water in my coffee cup?
Do you want to add boiling water to the cup? It is advisable to let the boiling water cool down a bit first or add a little bit of cold water. However, do not add too much cold water, because you do not want your drink to cool down too much. This helps to release the pressure in the cup and prevent possible leakage.
Can I use my VANN bottle for carbonated drinks?
It is not recommended to store carbonated beverages in your VANN bottle, as the pressure that builds up can cause it to leak or open the cap. If you do want to do this, make sure you do not fill the bottle completely and open the cap carefully to release pressure
How do I clean the cap and straw?
Disassemble the cap and straw and clean them with warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Use a small brush to clean hard to reach areas. Rinse thoroughly and let all parts dry completely before reassembling.
