WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED?
The bottle is made of high-quality 18/8 stainless steel and finished with a powder coating. The
caps are made of safe plastic (PP). We also know polypropylene (PP) as the hard plastic type that can withstand heat very well and is reusable.
The bottles are extensively tested to ensure that no toxic substances are present. If they fail the test (which has never happened), they will be rejected and not sent to our warehouse

Is the bottle suitable for sparkling water?
Yes! The bottle is suitable for sparkling water. Make sure you use the normal or pouring cap for this. The cap with a straw is also possible, but leakage may occur due to the high pressure.
Can a VANN Bottle go in the dishwasher?
Yes, VANN products are dishwasher safe. But we recommend washing the products by hand, as this increases their longevity. In practice, it is best to rinse the bottle after use and clean it thoroughly regularly. Washing by hand is more effective than using the dishwasher, because the dishwasher mainly cleans the outside, which usually does not get very dirty. To thoroughly clean the bottle, you can simply fill the bottle with a mixture of hot water and cleaning soda. Leave this overnight and rinse the bottle several times the next day. This way the inside will be as good as new again!

Is the VANN drinking bottle leak-proof?
Correct, the VANN drinking bottle is indeed 100% leak-proof with the carrying cap and the pouring cap. Our advice is not to use the cap with straw when you put the bottle in your bag, as this can lead to leakage. This is with the emphasis on can, because the cap with straw does not leak easily. However, when another object in your bag hits it, the cap may start to move. It is our priority to prevent a wet bag, hence this advice.

The idea of VANN
VANN was founded by Thijs in 2020. During his trip to Costa Rica, he was confronted with beaches full of plastic waste , especially single-use disposable bottles. On one of these beaches, the local population did a project to create more awareness.
They cleaned up the beach and then made a whale out of all the plastic bottles they found on the beach. These people with their artwork led to the start of VANN. VANN is eternally grateful to them.
