VANN
is the Norwegian word for water. Our fuel, our daily necessity, and our inspiration. For us, VANN is more than just a word; it is a feeling, a lifestyle, and a message that we want to show in our logo.
The VANN logo consists of two elements that represent our core values.
The first part is the "V" and the "A." We have merged these two letters into one. This symbolizes "unity"; the connection between you, me, and everyone who shares our vision. We are in this together, and we invite everyone to join us so that we can make our wave stronger and more impactful.
The second part of our logo is the wave. The "NN" in our logo is designed to look like a wave. A wave of water, yes, but more than that. A wave of movement, a conscious lifestyle, positive and healthy lifestyle. Step by step we let this wave grow.

The idea of VANN
The origin of VANN
VANN was founded by Thijs in 2020. During his trip through Costa Rica, he came into contact with a distressing problem: beaches littered with plastic waste, especially disposable bottles.
On one of these beaches he saw an inspiring initiative by the local population. They cleaned up the waste and created an impressive work of art: a whale made of all the collected plastic bottles. This project, intended to create awareness, touched Thijs and laid the foundation for the establishment of VANN.

An adventure full of perseverance and growth
After his trip through Costa Rica, Thijs was bursting with fresh ideas and decided to get started right away. The concept was clear, and with a good dose of motivation he started the journey that would eventually become VANN.
Challenges and valuable lessons
As with every company, VANN also had its challenges. For years, Thijs himself carefully packed and sent all the packages. This period was not always easy, but formed the basis of what VANN is today. It was a wonderful and educational time that laid the foundation for our mission and vision.

What is the delivery time and from where do you ship my order?
We ship your order from our modern warehouse in the Netherlands.
Delivery time:
Netherlands: Before 23:30 = delivered tomorrow
Belgium: Before 9pm = delivered tomorrow
Germany: 1-2 days
If you order during the weekend, your order will be delivered on Monday.
What are the shipping costs?
If you order for at least 50 euros, you will benefit from free shipping.
For orders under €50 we charge a contribution of €4.95.
Can the Ultimate Bottle go in the dishwasher?
Cleaning advice:
We recommend hand washing the bottles as this will extend their lifespan.
In practice, it is best to rinse the bottle after use and to clean it thoroughly regularly. Hand washing is more effective than using the dishwasher, because the dishwasher mainly cleans the outside, which usually does not get very dirty.
Deep cleaning
Fill the bottle with a mixture of hot water and cleaning soda. Let it sit overnight and rinse the bottle a few times the next day. This way the inside will be as good as new!
Cleaning tabs
For a thorough cleaning you can also use cleaning tabs. We offer sustainable bottle cleaning tablets in our webshop.
Is the bottle suitable for sparkling water?
Yes! The bottle is suitable for sparkling water.
Please note that you use the normal or pouring cap for this. The cap with straw can also be used, however, the high pressure can cause leakage.
Is a VANN drinking bottle free of harmful substances?
Yes, the VANN drinking bottle is 100% free of harmful substances such as BPA, DEHA and microplastics.
Is the VANN Ultimate Bottle leak-proof?
Correct, the VANN drinking bottle is 100% leak-proof with the screw cap and the carry-on cap.
Advice
We advise not to use the straw cap when putting the bottle in your bag, as this can lead to leakage. This is with the emphasis on can, because the straw cap does not leak easily.
However, if another object in your bag comes into contact with it, the cap may start to move.
Our priority is to avoid a wet bag, hence this advice.
